I have just gone a bit mad at the local garden centre. Ell not mad literally of course but I have spent a lot of money today. I decided that I really needed to get my garden sorted out ready for the children. They are growing up now and like spending time out there and so I decided that it needed to be made safer for them as well as more fun. I started out by getting some plastic edging so that I could make a nice pond area for them. I know that it could be dangerous and so I made sure that I chose my water garden supplies very carefully and have made sure that it is very safe. I have also thought hard about the planting in the garden and have decided that raised bed gardens could be a good idea. I think that it will be less messy and easier for us all and it will mean that the plants are at a good height for easily being able to see and smell them. I cannot wait to get started and I am hoping that I can rope in the rest of the family to help me as I know that it will be a big job.
