I have been trying to think about how to invest my money lately. With banks and the stock market being so unstable I am tempted to take all of my money out of them. However, I do not want it in the house but would much rather have it invested in something which will increase in value. I have therefore been looking at paintings. I know that many painting increase a lot in value and it is unusual for them to decrease in value. I cannot afford something like Van Gogh Paintings but it would be nice to have a few older ones. However, I was thinking more of buying some works by contemporary artists. I know that it is a gamble because you never know whether the art painting will become sought after or whether it will not. However, I want to take a few risks and therefore buy a few things which I really like and I hope will go up in value as well as buying some more classic pieces that I know will not go down in value. I think that it will be great fun choosing the artworks as well as hopefully watching them go up in value.
